Its\u00a0red-rock hoodoos are\u00a0like fairyland figures that dance in the morning and evening light to the delight of any visitor\u00a0who strolls to\u00a0one of the parks several fine viewpoints.<\/p>\n<p>But to truly experience Bryce Canyon you need to leave the pavement and venture down into the labyrinth of the Bryce Amphitheater. There are several trails\u00a0that crisscross the park, but if you had to choose just one\u00a0it would be\u00a0the Queen&#8217;s Garden Trail to the Navajo Loop.<\/p>\n<p>Starting at Sunrise Point, the trail drops steadily from the rim\u00a0providing great views of the Colorado Plateau to the east before connecting with the Navajo Trail. Along the way, you&#8217;ll see the trail&#8217;s namesake formation\u00a0&#8211; a\u00a0hoodoo with\u00a0a striking\u00a0resemblance\u00a0to Queen Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>From this\u00a0point deep within the canyon, the magical spires surround you as they reach to the sky providing photographers with classic views around every corner.\u00a0The aptly named &#8220;Wall Street&#8221; is a narrow corridor\u00a0providing a natural passageway that\u00a0cuts through the Silent City\u00a0and returns you to Sunset Point at the end of the journey.<\/p>\n<p>As I&#8217;ve mentioned previously, the winter months are my favorite time to visit the park.\u00a0\u00a0The crowds\u00a0have gone and\u00a0the first snows contrast beautifully against the red rock and indigo sky.
